Portrait of John Tyndall. Born 2 August 1820 in Leighlinbridge, Ireland. Died 4 December 1893 in Haslemere, England. Lithography, c. 1860. Reasonable condition. Paper slightly soiled, with overall but faint creasing. Some minor, faint spotting. Verso: blank, with traces of former mounting and an unidentified collection stamp. Dimensions: 132 x 100 mm. John Tyndall was Writer, Author, Physicist, Member of the American Philosophical Society, Professor of Physics, and Professor at the Royal Institution of Great Britain in London.
Venditore molto professionale: gentile e preciso. L'incisione con il ritratto di Paracelso è interessante dal punto di vista iconografico ed è ben conservata. Ringrazio il venditore. C'è stato un minimo problema per la consegna, ma questo è dipeso dalle poste.
