Portrait of Thomas Bernard, 3rd Baronet. Born 27 April 1750 in Lincoln, England. Died 1 July 1818. Stipple engraving by Charles Picart (c. 1780 - c. 1837), after J. Wright (fl. 1804-1816), 1815. Reasonable condition. Paper with ample margins, but a bit soiled and with overall creasing. Some very minor spotting. Verso: blank, with an unidentified collection stamp. Note: dimensions reflect the entire leaf. Dimensions: 359 x 292 mm. Thomas Bernard, 3rd Baronet was Social reformer, Governor of New Jersey, and Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
