Portrait of Charles Agar, 1st Earl of Normanton. Born 22 December 1736 in Gowran, Ireland. Died 14 July 1809 in London, England. Mezzotint by William Say (1768-1834), after Gilbert Stuart (1755-1828), 1803. Reasonable condition. Rather short margins. Some creases. Minor, faint spotting in some places. Mounted onto later paper. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 380 x 278 mm. Charles Agar, 1st Earl of Normanton was Archbishop of Dublin, Bishop of Glendalough, Primate of Ireland, Dean of Kilmore, Bishop of Cloyne, and Archbishop of Cashel.
