Portrait of Jacobus Willemsen. Born 22 July 1698 in Middelburg, The Netherlands. Died 31 March 1780 in Middelburg, The Netherlands. Etching and Engraving by Reinier Vinkeles (1741-1816), after Jean Appelius (fl. 1758-1790), 1774. Reasonable condition. Paper a bit browned and a bit soiled. Several folds, probably as issued. Short margins on the sides. Some minor creasing. Some minor staining, also affecting the image. Verso: blank. Dimensions: 390 x 266 mm. Jacobus Willemsen was Writer, Theologian, Preacher in Middelburg, Protestant preacher, Preacher in Vlissingen, Preacher in Heemstede, and Preacher in Biervliet.
