Portrait of Amalia of Solms-Braunfels. Born 31 August 1602 in Braunfels, Germany. Died 8 September 1675 in The Hague, The Netherlands. Etching and Engraving by Coenraet Waumans (1619 - c. 1661/75), after Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641), c. 1700. Good condition. Paper slightly browned and very slightly soiled. Verso: blank, with traces of former mounting. Note: possibly a later impression, c. 1700. State with the address of J. Meyssens partly erased in the lower right corner. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 255 x 193 mm. Amalia of Solms-Braunfels was Aristocrat, Princess consort of Orange, Married to Frederick Henry Prince of Orange, and Member of the House Solms-Braunfels.
