Portrait of Petrus Curtenius. Born 7 December 1716 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Died 3 August 1789 in Loenen aan de Vecht, The Netherlands. Etching and Engraving by Jacob Houbraken (1698-1780), after Jan Maurits Quinkhard (1688-1772), 1756. Good condition. Paper slightly soiled. Verso: blank. Mounted onto a 19th century album leaf, with a manuscript border around the print. With beneath the print a short 18th century manuscript biography of the portrayed in Dutch on a seperate piece of paper. Dimensions: 332 x 237 mm.
