Portrait of Napoleon II. Born 20 March 1811 in Paris, France. Died 22 July 1832 in Vienna, Austria. Etching, and Stipple engraving, c. 1820. Good condition. Ample margins. Paper a bit browned and slightly soiled, mainly along edges. With some minor spotting. Verso: blank. Note: possibly a proof state, before the signatures. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 238 x 164 mm. Napoleon II was Prince Imperial, King of Rome, Duke of Reichstadt, The son of Napoleon I Emperor of the French and his second wife Archduchess Marie Louise of Austria, and Titular Emperor of the French in 1815.
