Portrait of Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa. Born c. 63 BC. Died 12 BC in Campania, Italy. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper slightly browned and slightly soiled, with some browning along edges and some creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 142 x 96 mm. Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa was Statesman, Architect, General, Roman Statesman, Roman general, Roman Architect, Friend of Emperor Augustus, Builder of the Pantheon, and Inventor of the ''Roman Foot''.
