Portrait of Marcus Tullius Cicero. Born 106 BC in Arpino, Italy. Died 43 BC in Formia, Italy. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper slightly browned and slightly soiled, with some browning along edges and some creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 137 x 102 mm. Marcus Tullius Cicero was Lawyer, Statesman, Writer, Philosopher, Orator, Roman Statesman, Roman Writer, Roman Philosopher, Academic Skeptic Philosopher, and Consol of Rome.
