Portrait of Jacob van Wassenaer Obdam. Born 1610 in The Hague, The Netherlands. Died 13 June 1665 in Lowestoft, England. Copper engraving by Frederik Bouttats (1590-1661), after Theodor Matham (1605-1676), c. 1660. Reasonable condition. Margins trimmed to the border. Portrait cut-out and placed in a seperately printed decorative border. Both the portrait and the border in a nice contemporary colouring. Paper slightly browned with some minor faint staining. Traces of former mounting on the right. Mounted on verso: a contemporary coloured portrait of Henrietta Maria of France (1609-1669). Copper engraving by Frederik Bouttats (1590-1661), placed in a seperately printed decorative border. Traces of former mounting on the left. Dimensions: 155 x 110 mm.
