Portrait of Demetrius I of Macedon. Born 337 BC. Died 283 BC in ancient Apamea, Syria. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper a bit soiled, with some browning along edges and some minor creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 139 x 102 mm. Demetrius I of Macedon was King, Military leader, King of Macedon, King of Macedonia, and "Demetrius I Poliorketes".
