Portrait of Demetrius I Soter. Born c. 185 BC. Died 150 BC. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper a bit soiled, with some browning along edges and some minor creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 139 x 100 mm. Demetrius I Soter was King, Military leader, Basileus of the Seleucid Empire, and King of Syria.
