Portrait of Tiziano Vecellio, Titian. Born 1490 in Pieve di Cadore, Italy. Died 27 August 1576 in Venice, Italy. Wood engraving by Auguste Pontenier (1820-1888), after Etienne-Gabriel Bocourt (1821 - after 1840), c. 1880. Good condition. Rather short left and right margin. Paper slightly browned and soiled. Verso: Dutch text. Note: dimensions reflect the entire leaf. Dimensions: 143 x 103 mm. Tiziano Vecellio, Titian was Painter, Artist, Renaissance painter, "The Sun Amidst Small Stars", and Most important member of the 16th-century Venetian schooll.
