Portrait of Pieter Christiaenszoon Bor. Born 1559 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Died 16 March 1635 in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Etching and Engraving by Anthony van Zijlvelt (c. 1640 - 1695), after Frans Hals the Elder (1582-1666), c. 1670. Good condition. Margins almost trimmed to the border. Paper slightly creased and with some minor soiling. Verso: blank. Mounted onto a later album leaf. Dimensions: 260 x 174 mm. Pieter Christiaenszoon Bor was Writer, Historian, Notary, Ducht Historian, and Steward-General of North Holland.
