Portrait of Lucius Apuleius Madaurensis. Born c. 124 AD in Madauros, Algeria. Died c. 170 AD. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper a bit soiled, with some browning along edges and some minor, very faint, small staining. Some minor creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 143 x 102 mm.
