Portrait of Henry IV of France. Born 13 December 1553 in Pau, France. Died 14 May 1610 in Paris, France. Etching, and Aquatint by L. Roger (fl. c. 1786), after Antoine Louis Francois Sergent, dit Sergent-Marceau (1751-1847), c. 1790. Good condition. Paper a bit soiled and a bit browned. Some minor creasing. Some minor, faint spotting, mainly in the margins. Verso: blank, with traces of former mounting. Note: etching and aquatint, printed in colour, with French text below the print. Note: portrayed during his entry in Paris, 22 March 1594. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 245 x 164 mm.
