Portrait of Friedrich Wilhelm II, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg. Born 12 February 1603 in Weimar, Germany. Died 22 April 1669 in Altenburg, Germany. Etching and Engraving by Cornelis Meyssens (c. 1640 - after 1677), c. 1660. Good condition. A beautiful strong and early impression. Paper a bit soiled. Some minor browning along edges and some minor creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 177 x 122 mm. Friedrich Wilhelm II, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg was Member of the House of Wettin, and Duke of Saxe-Altenburg.
