Portrait of Francesco Maria de' Medici, Duke of Rovere and Montefeltro. Born 12 November 1660 in Florence, Italy. Died 3 February 1711 in Bagno a Ripoli, Italy. Etching and Engraving by Carlo Gregori (1702-1759), after Giovanni Domenico Campiglia (1692�1768), c. 1740. Reasonable condition. Paper slightly soiled. A faint horizontal fold affecting the image. Some creasing and a few small tears along edges (=not affecting the image itself). A small tear on the right part of the horizontal fold, just affecting the image, strenghtend with old paper on verso. Verso: blank, with an unidentified collection stamp and traces of former mounting. Dimensions: 332 x 249 mm. Francesco Maria de' Medici, Duke of Rovere and Montefeltro was Cardinal, Duke, Member of the House of Medici, Duke of Rovere, Duke of Montefeltro, and Governor of Siena.
