Portrait of Benjamin Hawes. Born 19 March 1797 in Portsmouth, England. Died 15 May 1862 in London, England. Stipple engraving by Edward Goodall (1795-1870), after Henry Perronet Briggs (1793-1844), and Frederick Goodall (1822-1904), c. 1850. Reasonable condition. Paper with ample margins, but a bit soiled and slightly brownjed. with overall, but minor spotting. A few small tears along edges (=not affecting the image by far). Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 456 x 352 mm. Benjamin Hawes was Politician, Statesman, Member of Parliament, and Whig politician.
