Portrait of Antisthenes. Born c. 446 BC in Athens, Greece. Died c. 366 BC in Athens, Greece. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper a bit soiled, with some browning along edges and some minor creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 144 x 102 mm. Antisthenes was Philosopher, Greek Philosopher, Pupil of Socrates, and Founder of the Cynic Philosophy.
