The VR1, a passive ribbon to bring out the bite and edge from your guitar cabs with no muddy highs. The Voodoo ribbon microphones from sE mark a new era for ribbon mic technology. Until the Voodoo Series, the only ribbon mic in the world to perform across 20Hz-20kHz was our own Rupert Neve collaboration, the RNR1. This was achieved using state-of-the-art custom transformers and a Rupert Neve-designed circuit to reveal HF usually absent. With the Voodoo mics, full frequency response is achieved using a clever mechanical device designed by Siwei Zou, the company CEO, and a hand-tensioned ribbon constructed by our highly specialized technicians in sE's capsule room. The result is a superbly detailed, open and natural recording of acoustic instruments and guitar cabs. The Voodoo's ability to perform - coupled with its unique look - have already made it a secret weapon for thousands of players worldwide. Items must be returned with all original packaging as well as all included items. Items that are not returned in original, resalable condition are subject to a 15% restocking fee. We charge a 15% restocking fee on returned items only if the item is clearly used and or the packaging is tarnished. A 10% re-stock is more likely if the unit comes back in mint condition. This was one of the best transactions I've ever had on Ebay! First, I was actually able to talk to the seller on the phone and ask questions. After that call, I had no hesitation in making this purchase. Shipping was very fast too. Listed as B-stock, but it looks brand new, with only tiny blems on back and side; barely noticeable. Playable right out of the box and the sound is incredible. And they gave me a killer deal. I highly recommend this seller as well as D'Angelico Guitars. Very happy!!
Arrived as described. Seller puts a signature required on guitars, so be warned. Had to take a day off to sign for it. Guitar was shipped "single boxed" in original box, and it did arrive pretty beat up. Tore all over where the guitar top is.. you could see the white wrap in 3 places...UPS left it face down to cover the damage and put a heavy package on top of it... then rang the door bell for the sig. and beat feet before I could see the box and say anything. Somehow it made it unscathed.
