Incredible NOS BELKNAP ICE CHEST PICNIC COOLER, with original advertising card. This ice chest is from my family home, my Dad purchased in the 1950's for our road trips every summer to the White Mountains, in New Hampshire. Our 1955 Desoto was green and our Dad loved the color of this ice chest. We never did use it, so it ended up in storage. It's new , never used but does have some dings and dents, scratches and abrasions from being stored for 70 years. If my memory is correct, we purchased this at our local Sears Roebuck Auto. Please see all the photos for closeups of any issues . Belknap Ice Chests were manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky. Heavy Ice Chest and weighs approximately 19 pounds boxed up. Attractive Ivory design lid, green sides and bottom. All aluminum interior with food tray and plug for draining.
