I had a dickens of a time photographing this item! It was difficult to get the Mr. Peanut figures to show up distinctly. Hopefully, you are familiar with this piece and know what it is supposed to look like. I can assure you that the face of this “jar“ is unmarred and in good condition, with the charming figures intact. I am certainly not a professional photographer, and if I can capture a better photo, I will add it. This is a heavy glass “apothecary“ type jar/canister, used more than likely in a general store or soda fountain. The glass is embossed with the name “PLANTERS“ as well as depicting two “Mr. Peanut” figures – – one is standing and the other is running. The glass has many, many tiny bubbles in it, which I find delightful. It is in wonderful condition with the exception that the INNER rim of the lid has two chips approximately 3/8 inches long. Please see photos. The overall height of this item is approximately 11 inches. The diameter of the opening is 6 1/2 inches, including the rim. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER SODA FOUNTAIN ITEMS CURRENTLY LISTED, all obtained from the estate of a gentleman who had an impressive soda fountain set up in his home. Normally, I am happy to combine shipping, but in this case, due to the size and delicacy of the pieces, I am going to have to ship any multiple purchases separately. The two aluminum ones could probably be shipped together, but not the glass ones or the fudge warmer. Please ask any questions you may have before making a purchase, as I do not accept returns.
