It is a beautiful and decorative piece of mid-century modern style serveware. Made in the United States by Indiana Glass in the 1970s. It is a heavyweight plate that is depressed glass. Pleasant and responsive seller, item was "over the top" securely packaged as was fortunate because USPS sent it all over the country and took eleven days to deliver with severe damage to the box in multiple locations despite many fragile stickers posted on all sides of the carton (thank you), item well described and received as such, posted quickly but arrived via USPS as above described, smooth purchase transaction.
