Vintage Carl Art Sterling Silver Rhinestone Filigree Brooch. This is a vintage Carl Art sterling silver rhinestone brooch. It has really gorgeous filigree with light blue baguette and clear circle rhinestones in prong settings. There are not any rhinestones missing. This brooch was likely made sometime in the 1940’s or 1950’s. Carl Art was founded in 1936 in by German immigrant Carl Schraysshuen and partner Arthur Loercher and the company produced jewelry under the name Carl Art until 1976. More of their earlier pieces featured sterling silver, as well as blue and clear rhinestones being a big part of the jewelry they made in the 50’s. The brooch pin and rollover clasp are in perfect working condition. The brooch size is 1-5/8” wide by 1-1/4” high. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
