Heljestrand Eskilstuna Sweden Safety Razor Travel Set – Kindal Export Model w/ Handle Extension Vintage Swedish safety razor travel set manufactured in Eskilstuna, Sweden, the historic center of Swedish cutlery and razor production. The razor features Kindal export branding (“Fabriqué en Suède”) and was produced by the renowned Swedish maker C.V. Heljestrand of Eskilstuna, a company known for precision machining and high-quality Swedish steel. Set includes • C.V. Heljestrand / Kindal double-edge safety razor • Original two-piece modular handle system (standard handle plus extension piece) • Perforated metal blade storage tube • Original fitted presentation case marked C.V. Heljestrand Eskilstuna Sweden This razor uses a spring-clamp blade holding system, an interesting and less common European design that securely grips the blade without the typical screw-top construction. The guard bar shows the distinctive Heljestrand milled comb with thick machined teeth, a hallmark of Eskilstuna manufacturing and an indicator of the razor’s quality construction. The handle system allows two configurations: • Compact travel mode (short handle) • Full-length shaving configuration using the extension piece This clever modular design allowed the razor to pack compactly in the case while still providing a full-length handle for normal shaving. Vintage pre-owned condition with light cosmetic wear consistent with age. Razor plating remains bright and the spring blade clamps function as intended.
