Tonner 14" Betsy McCall Doll w/Fashionably Sunny & Betsy Goes Sailing outfits This is a 14" jointed vinyl reproduction Betsy McCall doll that was manufactured by the Robert Tonner Company circa 1997. Betsy has inset amber-brown eyes, turned up nose, blushing cheeks, and rosy pink lips in an impish smile. Her brown hair is styled in a sleek bob and adorned with a barrettes of felt flowers that match her dress. The doll was purchased about 9 years ago at a doll store. She was new and stored in the back of the store, never played with nor displayed. They took her Betsy McCall Goes Hiking outfit and put them on another Betsy doll for a customer. Since her clothing was used for another doll, I purchased another outfit for her, It's the "Fashionably Sunny" outfit by made by The Robert Tonner Doll Company in 2004. It is complete and includes a long sleeved knit dress of multi-colored stripes in yellow, white, pink, red, orange and green and decorated with felt flowers; yellow tights; orange suede, side-button shoes; and a matching orange bag that has matching felt flowers. It is tagged and has its original bag included. She comes in her original Betsy McCall box, with osome shelf wear. She doesn't have her original hang tag or packing materials. Betsy also comes with an original tagged Tonner Doll Company "GOES SAILING" Outfit from 1997. The outfit consists of a short sleeve sailor dress in a blue and white stripe cotton fabric with a big white collar trimmed with narrow red ribbon with white dots, 2 rows of the same narrow ribbon decorate the hemline, a wide grosgrain red with white dots ribbon tied in a bow appears on the bodice at the tip of the collar. The dress closes in the back with 3 metal snaps. There is a half slip, white tights, red shoes with straps, cute wooden sailboat with red vinyl sails and a red satin hair ribbon included, the outfit is complete, and is in excellent condition.
