Gorgeous Very Rare Beautiful Antique Original Copper Luster on White 19C Staffordshire English Porcelain Figural King Charles Spaniel Hunt Hound Mantle Dog Pair • Very Heavy Surviving Examples • Beautiful Copper Luster • Height 9” This very rare and impressive antique original pair English Staffordshire porcelain King Charles Spaniel mantle dogs is hand painted with aristocratic accessories and spotted coats in copper luster that will bring a touch of the English countryside to any setting in which it is placed. Timeless and elegant original examples of English aesthetic, made from beautiful period moulds with deep lines and with wonderful characteristic features, this unique and rare figural spaniel pair with lovely clear patina and mirror-like glint to markings, will bring timeless style when arranged on its own or as part of a collection or arrangement. This is a rare early model that is extremely beautiful. Minimal expected age related patina with minimal expected post production wear. Expected original early manufacturing anomalies are original and under glaze, mainly in the form of firing lines in places, that are factory original. Some fill to one of the bases. Not sure why.
