The shipping box had a round protrusion the size of the cap from the inside. The fliptop cap was open, and some of the product was inside the box with packing materials. The box was too big, and the lid was not taped or secured in any way. I had the product spilled inside the box and the packing materials so I am pretty sure I did not get 10 pound of product. 
Excellent shower rod--brand new as listed, operates as it should, well packaged for shipping, reasonable price, shipping delayed 3 days due to/t weather conditions--no fault of seller. Would do business with seller again!
