Realistic LETTUCE CABBAGE HEAD, Grocery Store Display, Food Replica, 1990s Realistic LETTUCE CABBAGE HEAD, Grocery Store Display, Food Replica, 1990s Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE DISPLAY FAUX CABBAGE LETTUCE Fun and realistic vintage faux lettuce or cabbage head, measuring about 5-1/2" in size. Featuring a food prop, this was purchased in the 1990s for use in my general store display - so realistic stacked with other similar fake fruits and veggies. Sold through the SILK GARDEN SHOP and made in Thailand, I will include the original cellophane wrapper. Head is made of a silk or rayon blend to mimic the sheen and pliability of leaves. Designed into a tight ball, I'm guessing this is a cabbage - even the underside is toned to resemble how a head would have been cut from the ground. This has been stored in the bag for years - no smell to the cabbage, but the cellophane has a slight plastic scent. Fun addition to any display or staging! If questions, please contact me - thanks!
