Portrait of Pieter Elzevier. Born 1673 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Died 7 April 1754 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Etching and Engraving by Jacob Houbraken (1698-1780), after Jan Maurits Quinkhard (1688-1772), 1753. Reasonable condition. Paper a bit soiled, with some minor creasing. Verso: blank, with traces of former mounting. Dimensions: 338 x 238 mm. Pieter Elzevier was Preacher, Theologian, Preacher in Amsterdam, Protestant preacher, Preacher in Enkhuizen, Preacher in Sprang, and Preacher in Nieuwkerk.
