Portrait of Alexander I of Epirus. Born c. 370 BC. Died 331 BC in near ancient Pandosia, Italy. Etching and Engraving by Theodoor Galle (1571-1633), 1606. Good condition. Paper with ample margins. A nice strong and early impression. Paper a bit soiled, with some browning/faint spotting along edges and some minor creasing. Verso: blank. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 140 x 98 mm. Alexander I of Epirus was King, Military leader, "Alexander Molossus", King of Epirus, Uncle of Alexander the Great, and Brother-in-law of Alexander the Great.
