A beautifully detailed Victorian-era quadruple silverplate water set by Middletown Plate Co. , featuring a cohesive floral-and-vine motif across all four pieces and is a wonderful example of the naturalistic Aesthetic Movement style dating to the 1880s–1890s. The pitcher is the focal point, with an embossed bird nestled among blossoms and sculptural berry clusters at the handle. The waiter tray has a distinctive sculptural outline, with an oval serving field and raised floral edging that gives it an elegant, almost arrow-like silhouette. Each piece is stamped “Middletown Plate Co. Quadruple Plated” and “HARD WHITE METAL” . The goblet and slop cup are additionally marked “GILT” . The product came exactly as described, and it was well packaged for protection. It was shipped out quickly. There was a small hiccup on the post office's part (not relating to the seller at all) and the seller was incredibly responsive to help resolve the situation.
