It is #2 out of an edition of 18, 17-1/8 x 34 inches (43.5 x 86.4 cm) (sheet) Signed, numbered, and dated in pencil along lower edge CONDITION: No apparent condition issues. Attached to mat board which measures approximately 21" x 37. PROVENANCE: Purchased via Heritage Auctions, from G.E. Corporate Art Collection. Michael Gregory paints richly detailed landscapes that are realist in style, but painted from imagination and memory. Gregory is fascinated with the study of old barns and silos, which have become some of his most frequent subjects. His actual depictions of the structures vary widely—sometimes up close and centered, other times at a far distance. His other subjects have included flowers isolated under bright lighting, precariously balanced houses made of cards, and stucco buildings. In addition to his subject matter, Gregory is known for his luminous use of color and characteristically limited palette of whites, grays, blacks, and muted tones. Very well packaged up with tape and cardboard. Really fast postage, as well as the photographs matching the delivered item. Very good value for money. It was expecting to arrive in the first or second week of August. So for it to arrive on my doorstep two weeks earlier than expected makes me a very happy customer.
