Michael Anthony 925 Sterling Silver Pectoral Cross Necklace. New in box with certificate of authenticity. The cross has been designed and crafted by the Genoese sculptor Antonio Vedele (May 13, 1930 - Oct. 4, 1997). The cross represents "the good Shepherd" who guides his flock to the fold and carries the lost sheep on his shoulders. The cross's simple, linear style is also intended as a symbol of a new ecclesiastical era, a poor Church among the poor, as Pope Francis has indicated.
