MAKE AN OFFER. THE MORE YOU BUY THE BETTER DEAL I WILL ACCEPT The postcard features an image of Kinkakuji, also known as the Golden Pavilion, located in Kyoto, Japan. The original Golden Pavilion was constructed in 1397 by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, who was a shogun ruling Japan at that time. Unfortunately, the pavilion was destroyed by a fire in 1950.

  1. Shipping was delayed. I believe this was due to the January 2026 snow storm. Packaging was in a thick protective envelope. Exactly as pictured and described. Mint condition for being a 43 year old postcard. My counter-offer was accepted and a fair price. Ebay was able to step in and assist with my inquiry of the delay in receiving. 5 STARS to Seller. Thank you for bringing me closer to a dear friend, that I miss so very much!
