Description
This juniper started life as quality nursery material from a local garden center and has been trained as bonsai over the past several years. The tree has a graceful slanting / cascading line with carved deadwood running through the trunk, giving it a lot of age and character for its size. Foliage is scale-type and responds well to pruning, so it can be refined further into tighter pads over time. The live vein and shari contrast nicely and there are multiple options for subtle restyling as the tree develops. • Approx. height: ~9–10” from soil line • Approx. spread: ~18” • Pot: unmarked ceramic bonsai container in good, used condition • Grown outdoors in Colorado; cold-hardy juniper suitable for similar climates with standard winter protection for bonsai. Tree is healthy and actively growing, but as with any bonsai, it should be acclimated to your local conditions and cared for accordingly. Stand not included.
