Homelite XL-12 Chainsaw for parts. This saw is missing the coil inside the spark plug boot so I was not able to test spark. Compression is low at 50. The recoil spring is broken. The catches on the flywheel that engage the recoil are on wrong and those springs may be bad. I buy used chainsaws wherever I can find them and I sell them here. The saws that I sell are used, usually abused and probably don't run. When I say a saw pops it means I have poured fuel in the carburetor or cylinder and it runs for a few seconds as it uses up the fuel.Unless otherwise stated it does not come with a bar or chain. This saw is missing the coil inside the spark plug boot so I was not able to test spark. Compression is low at 50. The recoil spring is broken. The catches on the flywheel that engage the recoil are on wrong and those springs may be bad. It is missing 1 recoil cover screw. The tab is broken off the oil cap. There is a piece broken off the air filter cover and the plastic nut is missing. Because of it's age it may need fuel and/or oil lines and fuel and/or oil filters. It is dirty and had been sitting. Compression # 50 Low Model # XL-12 Serial # 50512965 I do not take returns, I describe the saws to the best of my abilities and it is possible that I missed something but it is usually small like a missing screw or something. These saws are old and could have other problems I did not even check for. A lot of these older saws need fuel lines and sometimes a filter so even if it does not say it in the description assume the fuel lines are bad. I only ship within the contiguous United States.
