This endearing pair of Heubach figurines is an antique gem from Lichte, Thuringia, Germany, and dates to 1882-1915. These rare figurines were marked with the blue Heubach sunburst stamp, but it has faded with time, partially visible in one of the figurines. Heubach released several figurines targeted at different markets including Italy, France, and America. These dancers were likely produced for the Spanish market, depicting two girls in traditional Spanish Flamenco attire. One girl is engaged in the dance while the other plays the guitar. The figurine displays the characteristic naïveté and child-like expression of Heubach along with intaglio eyes and eyelids. This set is the is a perfect addition to any collection, Gebruder Heubach and doll collectors and would make a thoughtful gift for a special occasion or loved one. Condition - The set of figurines is in very good condition for its age. The paint and gold are in very good share. This set will not disappoint you.   1. The statue was as described but arrived broken. This was a delicate porcelain figurine with outstretched arms and fingers. It was wrapped in large bubble wrap and tightly surrounded with Styrofoam peanuts. The box was thin walled so any pressure would and did cause damage. Items like this should always be double boxed with softer wrap to allow some give. I would not buy delicate items from this seller. Fortunately, I did get a refund.
