Hasselblad Distagon 50mm f/4 T* wide angle lens. Serial # 5896980. Made in Germany by Carl Zeiss . Lens will fit camera's like Hasselblad 500C, 500C/M , 501C, 501C/M, 503CX, EL, ELM, 503ELX and Hasselblad 503CW. Synchro-Compur shutter with speeds from 1/500 - 1 second and B. Lens stops range is f/ 4 - f/ 22 . Lens uses 63mm drop in filters held in place with included Hasselblad lens shade or series 8 screw in filters. Close focus down to 19 inches. Lens is Ex+ or 8.5/9 of 10 cosmetic condition. Black finish, paint and scales are nice. No dents or dings. Few minor small marks around. Clean glass. Clean front and rear elements. No coating marks, scratches or separation. Shutter is in good working order. Clean and smooth aperture blades. This lens has recently been CLA'D best as possible for a vintage lens in March 2025. Smooth focusing. Great classic wide angle lens with German optical quality. Lens comes original Hasselblad lens shade, after market front lens cap & Hassy rear cap, and Hassy plastic bubble case.
