Condition was new, it was an excellent value. Being that it is a bit thicker than my other paddles, it has more absorption of the impact when hitting the ball which is easier on my shoulder. I recommend adding an edge guard, which I did immediately upon receipt and the paddle paint still chipped off on the edge when it came in contact with another paddle the first day out. Also interesting, I ordered on eBay and it came from Amazon, in Amazon packing and delivered by Amazon.
