Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1987 : Stanley Mouse Art !!! - ' Egypt '78 Characters !!! ' - ( String Section Bandmembers !! ) : September 22, 1987 ( 9/22/87 : 9/22/1987 ) - The Spectrum - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ( PA ) : 1987 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Very-Rare !!!!! Grateful Dead Fans !! ... and Fans of ' The Mouse ' !!! Offered is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) '87 Fall Tour stop at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ( PA ) on September 22nd, 1987 ( 9/22/1987 ) !! And Whoa !!! ... as what an Incredible ! G.D. Backstage I'm Grateful ! to offer here my fellow Dead Fans - and as I'm sure you're already well aware ... this Art-Masterpiece ! is by the Mouse ! himself - the One & Only !!! " Stanley Mouse " that is. I assume you are familiar with Mouse's " Egypt '78 " artwork used on the Official Program, T-Shirt, Pyramid, etc.. - pretty much everywhere possible for the Grateful Dead Family's Legendary ! " Big Trip ! " to Egypt in September 1978. Well, the original Mouse design ( only 9-Years old at the time, way back in '87 ) ... included Mouse-esque " Characters " of each stage-position of the band members - there were " Drummers " ( B.K. & Mick ) ... a " Piano Player " ( Keith ) ... a " Singer " ( Donna-Jean ) ... and three " String-Players " ... ( Phil, Bobby & Jerry ! ). So check out the photos of this beautiful Blue & Yellow G.D. Backstage Pass ... and you will see the " Mouse Art Images " of Phil Lesh - Bob Weir & Jerry Garcia !!! ... even on a Philly Spectrum Backstage Pass !!!!! And as you will see - everyone has the same-size " Axe ", as Mouse didn't see the need to give Phil a bigger " Bass " Guitar. When actually seeing them all-together, you can see how it definitely would have thrown the images apart with a bit with unbalance - as there is a definite ' equilibrium ' in having the images of each Band Position the same size - the G.D. " String-Section " in Synchronicity ! ... that's what we like !! This Pass was only used a very-few times by the Grateful Dead ... mostly in the Late-'80's - and even on a " Blank " Pass too one time in the '90's which was pretty cool as well. If you're the type of G.D. Fan that only Collects the Rarest ! - Coolest !! - and ' The Best !!! " ... well, this G.D. / Mouse ! Pass might just Definitely ! be All-You !! Certainly one of my own personal-favorites. " Hail to the Mouse !! " ... and to the The Good Ol' Grateful Dead !!! Enjoy !!!!!
