This delightful Heubach figural group is an antique gem from Lichte, Thuringia in Germany, and dates to 1882-1915. The figurine depicts a boy blindfolded trying to catch a girl. The boy is dressed in pink and with while the girl wears a pastel green dress. The piece has been modeled with great level of detail that be observed intaglio eyes, hands, and clothes. The piece captures motion exquisitely. This figural group is rare in this size at almost 13" tall. The figurine is a perfect addition to any collection, Gebruder Heubach and doll collectors and would make a thoughtful gift for a special occasion or loved one. Condition - The figurine is in excellent condition. The figurine had a crack on boy’s neck that was professional restored hence, the restoration is invisible and undetectable to touch. Gold and colors are in great shape. There is a small fire crack on base (marked in picture. Please see photos for additional information about the item condition.   1. The statue was as described but arrived broken. This was a delicate porcelain figurine with outstretched arms and fingers. It was wrapped in large bubble wrap and tightly surrounded with Styrofoam peanuts. The box was thin walled so any pressure would and did cause damage. Items like this should always be double boxed with softer wrap to allow some give. I would not buy delicate items from this seller. Fortunately, I did get a refund.
