Up for auction is the following autographed 4x6 photograph: BIO: Alan Bryeitt WWII RAF 158 Squadron Great Escape. Shot down by a German night-fighter over Berlin in August 1943. POW Stalag Luft III 1943-1945. He strolled around the Stalag Luft III compound dispersing sand from tunnels 30 feet below. AUTHENTIC HAND AUTOGRAPHED 4x6 photograph. Mr. Royle was a POW in the Stalag Luft III Prison Camp in 1944. The exploits of the escape from this camp are immortalized with the “Great Escape” movie.
