Also, make sure your work area is tidy, spacious, and well-ventilated. Step3. Raise the car high enough off the ground so that you can easily access where the driveshaft is. This can be done by using a jack or car lift. Step4. Locate where the driveshaft is located, usually in the middle of the bottom of the car.
