EDWARDS E-LB-135CD Black 4.87kg Made in 2004 Description LP-type bass from EDWARDS, an ESP brand that also owns ESP Navigator Grassroots. This is the Edwards LP-type bass E-LB-135CD. Hard maple top, mahogany back, 3-piece hard maple neck, ebony fingerboard, SeymourDuncanSHKB-1n and SeymourDuncanSHKB-1b pickups, 2VOL 1TONE passive, gold hardware bridge with ESPBB-I. This guitar has a tight, solid tone, and the Duncan pickups are easy to use and control, making it highly versatile. The pickup selector has been replaced, and there are some signs of wear. There are paint bubbles on the back of the neck from the 5th to 7th frets that are thought to be from the time of manufacture, as well as scratches from playing, picking marks, and cloudy metal parts and screws. Upon arrival, the guitar was set up, cleaned, had strings replaced, had rods adjusted, and had string height adjusted. The frets are at a height that does not affect playability, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right, and is in good condition. Superb service. Guitar was delivered earlier than expected and it was very well packaged. It was in even better condition than the description led me to believe. Given the condition, I had also worked out that the price, even with import duties and VAT, was still less than I would have been able to find elsewhere. These extra costs would have applied anyway because there were no sellers of this type of guitar in the UK. The shipping was also free. I was very pleased with my purchase.
