This unique and rare ceramic serving dish appeared on the market in 2009 as a limited release edition. It measures approx 13.5 inches in length and weighs approx 4 lbs. It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or signs of repair. It features Jack Skellington and Sally Finklestein riding atop the hearse, but also serving as spreader or pate’ knives (see photos). The Nightmare Before Christmas premiered at the New York Film Festival on October 9, 1993, followed by a limited release on October 13, and a wide theatrical release on October 29, 1993. Directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton, the film has since become a beloved cult classic, celebrated for its innovative stop-motion animation and hauntingly whimsical soundtrack by Danny Elfman. It's one of those rare films that bridges Halloween and Christmas, making it a seasonal favorite across two holidays.
