I acquired this original Boeing News Bureau photo from an estate sale of a past Boeing employee. The description of the photo says, "The Boeing jet transport prototype lifts its new soft-failed landing gear off Boeing Field, Seattle, Washington, on a test flight. The landing gear, with low-pressure tires, has 20 wheels, twice the number usually found on such an airplane. Recent tests at Harper Dry Lake, California, demonstrated that future large military transports will be able to land and take off on lightly prepared, unpaved fields." --Boeing Photo From : News Bureau The Boeing Company Seattle, Washington 98124 The back of the photo is stamped, "P 36694" It's in very nice condition. There is a spot on the paper attached to the photo.
