Babe Ruth Teaching Children Circa 1944 PSA Authentic Type I News Service Photo Original News Service Photo, Parkchester Press-Review, Circa. 1944 PSA Certified & Slabbed. Item measures approximately 9 5/8" x 13 1/8". The photo itself measures around 7 1/4" x 9" Photo is still in the PSA plastic sleeve. Photo has surface tearing, heavy discoloration around the edges, edge tearing, surface scratches, creasing, staining, age discoloration and marks. There are arrows and lines drawn onto the image, perhaps used as layout marks or cropping lines by a photographer or newspaper. The discoloration and scratches around the border may indicate that this was framed at one point, but I don't know. There is heavier surface tearing near the left edge. Photo has writing, marks and a stamp for the Parkchester Press-Review on the back side. It appears there is air in the PSA slab itself, which is more noticeable on the reverse side.
