5 NICE New Year Antique Postcards,1900s.EMB,Gold Trim. Clock, Flowers, Good Luck This is a nice group of 5 NEW YEAR postcards that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. They have the classic New Year motifs such as CLOCKS, FLOWERS, CALENDAR DATE, GOOD LUCK CHARMS, etc. These are EMBOSSED postcards and they have strong GOLD trim. They are attractive postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. They were made by different publishers. These are a colorful selection of postcards. One of the postcards shows a very nice gold clock with purple flowers in the background. Another postcard is written in German and has the calendar date as well as a chain with a heart of purple flowers on it and blue ribbon. There is a postcard with the calendar date with flowers all around as well as a bird to the right. Another postcard has a beautiful rose with greenery and strong gold trim all over. The final postcard shows a very pretty green color vase with purple flowers and greenery. These postcards were made during the "Golden Age of Antique Postcards" (1908-1915 era). Overall, a nice selection of New Year antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, their colorful and attractive nature, and their appeal to antique postcard and New Year collectors. The postcards are POSTED with cancel dates of 1907-1909. The postcards are EMBOSSED, with strong GOLD trim, and "PRINTED IN GERMANY". They have DIVIDED backs.
